Listening to Settled coach Jimmy through the boss, then thinking of prayer-flicking on top of all the mechanical movement, attacking, prayer swapping, eating... I have so much respect for high tier Runescape players.

The idea of finding diaries and “newspapers” about from NPC’s perspectives in crates/chests is really cool! I searched pretty much every crate as a kid and was so depressed to find “you find nothing of interest”

I was way too happy when I got to 43:40 and realized we'd actually get to keep using the Ivandis Flail in this version. It was so dumb in RS3 that you finally get the super awesome vampyre killing weapon that took like 3 quests to make (the blessed sickle, the rod, then combining them) only to use it to kill one random vampyre guard and throw it out and make a blisterwood polearm instead.

The fact that the most dangerous tree for vampires, in a dystopic and unaccessible city that's being guarded for centuries, is being casually chipped away by a guy in lumberjack clothes makes it clear that the mmo aspect of this game, story-wise, is purely for the weirdness

39:30 Not spoilers since OSRS has went a different direction with the questline quite a bit, in RS3 they basically find a cure for artificial vampyrism. So a bunch of the ones that were being turned get turned back, and then Vanescula being in charge means they improve human living conditions in Morytania in exchange for tithing on the remaining, more manageable vampyre population.
