I used to watch my uncle play this game. Then he played StarCraft and I was hooked on the RTS genre. Long live the RTS genre.

The soundtracks for this game still are amazing.

Watching your ships dropping off the troops after your battleships got sunk was like watching D-Day.

I always loved how brutal some units sounded, like this knight for example or ogres, elf voices on the other hand were contrastically soft and polite. And this bloodlust sound is so aggressive and intimidating!

watched my dad play this as a kid and now everytime he asks me to take out the trash or do a chore I always say “Jobs done!” when i’m done, makes him smile every time

The voice acting of the unit's, mission briefing and the soundtrack is divine. The mission briefing in particular is God whomever did that get him back. :)

I used to take the humans start a random game then harvest the wood in a cube shape and build farms in front of it to seal it off cept for a tiny entrance. Then i transformed everything into sheep and chased those sheep on the map for hours to get them all to go into the little place i builed for them, the ideas i had as a kid...

I LOVE this game! I miss it so much! It taught me to manage resources. Great action, great music, grat style. Developers should make some version for present versions of operational systems, but preserving the original style and even using the same soundtracks and sound effects in most part of a remake of the game. A classic of classics.

As soon as I started the video that voice took me back to being 8 years old and playing this!!! I'm 22 now and love what Blizzard has grown for themselves! I don't play WoW so I'm really hoping for a new Warcraft rts one day.
