Times have changed. How refreshing to watch Pastor Graham so eloquently and graciously speak in a secular setting. Beautiful

Billy Graham was definitely God sent.

Thank you FATHER GOD, for sending Dr. Billy Graham, in my generation, to preach the gospel of JESUS CHRIST, your only son, to a dying world.

This blows me away. An actual, mature discussion about the Bible on the Tonight Show.

Warms my heart to hear of such love for Jesus. We need revival.

I have so much respect for these men. Can you imagine people having a civil conversation like this today on a talk show ?

Dear God please send us a lot more people like Dr. Billy Graham

I was born in 1958 and my dad worked for Delta so we flew alot. My mother told me one time while standing to get off the plane in New Orleans which is where we lived, she noticed a very tall man with the bluest eyes she had ever seen standing behind us staring down at me. She realized it was Billy Graham and said hello to him. He put his hand on my head and said a prayer over me right there on the plane standing in the aisle waiting to get off. I would love to know what he prayed but that was between him and God, but I sure do appreciate doing it.

The world needs more people like Mr. Graham

I so appreciate the respect given to Billy Graham by Johnny Carson.

What a powerful Evangelist! I loved watching his crusades and so did my family. He led many to the Truth and Mercy and Grace of our Savior Jesus.

THIS is how a man of God should represent himself and God in an interview...Billy Graham spread the gospel to as many as he could...he didn't sugarcoat anything, he just spoke God's word, directly...

3 decades later we still appreciate this interview..

Johnny was such a class act! He didn't try to put Graham down or act snarky. Just a great fella! And in 1973 you could hear the Gospel on a late night talk show! My how things have changed!

My husband was stationed in Alaska 28 years ago so I brought my then 11 y o son to church and there was Franklyn Graham preaching in a regular baptist church one Sunday morning, I couldn't believe it. My son got saved that day, Praise God.

At the end of the interview he stood up gracefully, greeted respectfully and walk away humbly and honorably. Evangelist Dr. Billy Graham a great man of God, a gift to the body of Christ. Thank God for using him mightily to preach the gospel around the world
