As a traditional Latina, I can confirm that’s how we are raised - to serve our men. When we are done cooking, we serve the kids first , then the men, and lastly the women serve themselves.

She’s right, he’s taking care of you and the home he deserves to be catered to that shouldn’t even be an argument. Men who are being men deserve the upmost respect and love.

I wise woman once said woman that are raised without fathers, later on when dating cannot tell the difference between tyranny and competence. I think many BW have experienced “second trauma” (if I can call it that) or induced fear of competent men (by the mothers). Hence, a competent (successful) BM is viewed as a threat to her stability. And, the slightest ask or even expectation for her to put some skin in the game (I.e relationship equity) they either shy away from it or outright deny it (questioning the BM’s motives). Sad thing for BW is especially for the high tier BM there is immense and ever growing competition for his commitment. They can deny it all they want. It’s the objective reality and time is ticking for them to change. Change or miss out.
