As a Londoner I have to say Scotland is very beautiful not only the city's, towns, villages but the countryside and MOST importantly the PEOPLE!...
-
The rest of the world. You need to understand. When you visit Scotland, you’re visiting an ancient land. which has a majestic beauty. yes, it’s wet quite a lot, but that only adds to its beauty, That’s why people from around the world fall in love with Scotland, when they see it for the first time. As a Scot. It’s nice to see other people enjoy, what we take for granted. There is only one Scotland, and it is the best country on earth. But please don’t just hang around the cities. go. Enjoy Scotland. There’s a whole country to see…🤷🏻♂️🏴

My daughter is half way though an MSc in Edinburgh and we have her to thank for discovering this wonderful city. We have stayed there on three occasions in the last 15 months and it has quickly become one of my favourite cities, if not my very favourite.
-
As a long-term resident of Edinburgh. Can I congratulate you on pronouncing Edinburgh correctly . 😊 This city is a feast for your eyes and will always remain in the corner of your heart.
-
I moved to Edinburgh from Canada a couple of years ago and while it's become commonplace to look up and see this beautiful architecture, there are moments where the beauty is brand new and I can't believe how lucky I am to live here. I love travelling but am always happy to come back to this beauriful city.❤

I’m English and my partner of 20 odd years is Scottish. I’ve visited Scotland countless times and I absolutely love the place. Untouched beauty . I’ve driven all the way to the outer Hebrides and the scenery is just breathtaking. Unbelievably beautiful. I love Scotland ❤

As an Edinburgh man born and bred, thanks for reminding me how lucky I am to live/be from here.
-
Im born-and-bred in Edinburgh, and it's such a shame that I take what's on my doorstep for granted. Your video has just given me a swift nudge to start paying attention again. Beautiful. Glad you had a great time.
-
This brought tears to my eyes.I was born here and have lived here my whole life and as much as I love and I am proud of my city its so nice to appreciate it through the eyes of visitors.Thank you ❤
-
This filled my Scottish heart with joy, seeing how you both reacted to our beautiful city of Edinburgh and well done you pronounced Edinburgh the correct way. I love Edinburgh and live only an hour and a half away from it, the buildings, the history, the old town and the new town. I am so glad you loved Scotland.
-
It's lovely to see my home city through the eyes of visitors. My two young kids just take it all for granted, regardless of how often I explain that they live in one of the most beautiful cities. Glad to see you had fun here!
-
Glad you enjoyed Edinburgh. As a scot, I tend to take the buildings etc for granted as we see them so often. It really does make me appreciate our lovely country/cities when seen through another person’s eyes 🥰
-
Your first bit of your Scottish accent was actually not the worst I've heard.👌🏻 Edinburgh is a phenomenal place, I'm glad you guys enjoyed our nation's capital, it is magical. Haste ye back.

Edinburgh born & bred and this video brings a smile to my face - BUT ' visitors coming to Edinburgh, please-please-PLEASE do not buy any souvenirs from the shops in the Royal Mile and the streets running off it - there's almost ZERO chance of buying anything 'Made in Scotland' - it's all just cheap 'Made in Taiwan/China tat !. I deplore these shops and the image they give the city !

Over the years I have had the privilege of seeing the faces and reactions of friends and family seeing Edinburgh and the Highlands for the first time. Enjoyed your delight. I fell in love with Edinburgh and all of Scotland some 50 years ago. Scotland is the only place in Europe that I return to time and time again. Was there in September and will be back in the Spring. BTW.... the Scotts are a big part of the Fun. ( maybe the best ).

I am fortunate to live in the Scottish Borders, an hour from Edinburgh and a land so rich in history; as a lover of all things ancient, I feel incredibly humbled (don't tell anyone, but I am English).
-
That was actually a decent watch and so interesting to see the perspective of a visitor to my home city, Edinburgh still takes my breath away and I’ve lived my whole life here. 3 days isn’t enough to experience all this amazing place has to offer, I suggest future visits you take in the unique and exhilarating Edinburgh Festival in August when the cities population trebles and the place is the centre of the world for the arts. Haste ye back

I used to work on the rigs, and drove to Aberdeen from Preston on a regular basis. I always stopped for a couple of nights in Edinburgh on the way home. I love it…. Apart from the speeding ticket I got. 😊
-
I got quite emotional seeing your reaction to the beautiful city of Edinburg. I’ve been many times and it is still one of my favourite places to visit.
-
You know, I’m very fortunate to have been to Edinburgh many times. But only get to experience a city for the first time once. Watching you guys with your wide eyes makes me smile.
