In this video I use my day off as a campground host to go paddle a section of the Colorado River between State Bridge and Two Bridges near Bond, CO. It was a 75 mile ride from camp to the river. After the paddle I grill up dinner on the camp grill. Then it's down to the river for some trout fishing. I also show a new addition to my camp gear. I got a screen room for camp to get some relief from the bugs!
Thank You For Being Here.
*My name is Brian. I started living full time in a self built camper van in 2014 in my hometown of San Diego, CA. I hit the road full-time in 2015 to pursue seasonal work and travel around the U.S. I find free camping on public land and enjoy photography, hiking, biking, and kayaking in nature. Join me on my adventures.
Thanks for watching!

That screen shelter you bought was a must need item there. I was actually laughing at a prior video of you outside trying to talk to us on the camera and kept swatting the flys away. That screen shelter will make relaxing outside way better.

Hello Brian and hello to Todd. Great to see him again. Glad you two were able to get together and have some fun. Loved that wave splashing over the bow. Deer flies are bad here too. Them suckers hurt when they bite. Glad you got the clam.
  • So pretty. The water was a little rough in certain areas. The train going by so cool 🌻

Tip: stake the four corners of the Clam first then pop out the side walls, then unzip the front and pop up the roof.

It's the simple things, like a bug free environment. ✌💚

You can spray the netting with permethrin spray and it keeps the bugs away both inside and out. Also, you can use permethrin spray on your head Net so that the flies don’t buzz around your head at all. Beautiful float!
  • The bike sure comes in handy for several reasons I just don’t have the room. Thanks for the thrill Brian ☮️🩵
