In this video, I go into detail on the geographical locations of famous CS:GO maps and I discuss the lore of the maps using knowledge I acquired from information across the internet. I touch up on maps from the current competitive poll, as well as some old ones that are no longer in the game, but definitely left a mark in the community. Great video, if you ever make a part two, maybe include more direct comparisons. So what I would really enjoy seeing is if you had a real life picture and try to recreate the exact same angle in CS:GO.

Dust 2 and mirage are in Morocco and anubis is in suez canal egypt these are my favorite CSGO maps

Safehouse also existed in a swamp level in Left 4 Dead (or L4D2 maybe). The one in CS is the exact symmetry of the one in L4D.

Fun fact: Zoo was also featured in Operation Bloodhound in 2015.

6:36 I think Gastown was an inspiration for CS 1.6 version of de_nuke. Other versions have completely different design
