I’ve got one of these and an old iPhone 7 Plus that I use exclusively for ps remote play. It’s brilliant. The 7 plus has the same size screen as a switch lite and the backbone actually feels a lot like the switch too. I’d say the sticks feel a little better even. The 7 or 8 plus will also work perfect for remote play as the screen is 16:9, so no black boarders either side like the iPhone X or newer. You can pick them up super cheap now too as if you’re using it as a remote play device you don’t really need a SIM card so you can get a sim locked phone. One thing to note though is that android doesn’t have controller support for remote play on PlayStation other than the DS 4 or 5, so if they do bring an android version out it won’t work for remote play.

Just ordered one. I felt like the kishi was a ripoff since you can’t use microphone with Bluetooth and there’s no audio pass trough. Back bone looks more legit and less like a toy. Great reviews 👍

Their statement doesn't make much sense, there are by far more Android users than iPhone, so it makes sense to have that hardware mainly for Android. Luckily i have a Razer Kishi, but the backbone looks at least just as interesting.
