I think the main issue with this theory is the whole thing with Gregory sneaking in while the pizzaplex is being built and why he isn’t registered as a guest. When the events of security breach happen and the building is finished, why would he be in such a rush to escape? No hate though, I just thought that part was a little strange. Although the entirety of FNaF is strange so I don’t blame you lol

I also thought about this before, but after the trailer came out i find it quite unlikely. Although there there is some additional "evidence" for this theory; we know gregory was patient 46 in the pizzaplex for at least two years prior to SB, so the mimic mimicking his voice in a prequel is not impossible, also a duffle bag message says that monty already lost his legs in the same way as his bossfight once, but i believe it was added for gameplay purposes, to explain how gregory knows how to decommission him. also glamrock bonnie not being there wouldn't be an issue since the books suggest he was decommissioned at least four years before the game

Not gonna lie I thought this was going to be some wild theory video without much substance (I've seen a few wild theories out there already) but you actually do bring up some very good points. Although not sure about about him being there before the pizzaplex was built. It sounds like the Pizzaplex was open for quite a while before the evens of SB so it's possible he's been hiding out somewhere in the pizzaplex for a while managing to avoid being caught until the events of the game. It'll be interesting to see and you do bring up a point where you can't actually see if Freddy has the upgrades or not. And we've seen from reports that there's been an accident with Monty on the catwalks resulting in him being damaged, and there's a note to say don't leave pizza stuff in the compactor meaning she's been damaged like that before too, and although Roxy isn't mentioned to have suffered damage before they have mentioned she likes jumping on the track so wouldn't surprise me if she has been damaged before too.

A theory I've seen is that the ending that leads us to the dlc isn't exactly an ending its after you get jumpscared, you get captured so Gregory is stuck there, trapped.

What if the burntrap ending is a symbolization of Gregory’s death being crushed in the rubble, and the hill, is the exact same one from fnaf 6, there is also a grave on the hill exactly where Gregory sits, and the mimic managed to get a hold of Gregory’s voice and is mimicking him like he is still alive, another reason to prove this is that how would Freddy and Gregory find a hill without being noticed, there’s no way they could have not been seen

Also Roxxane's endo being different could be a hint at the game being a prequel. Main word being "could".

Ngl, this is kinda fire. Could explain some of Vanessa's unused voice lines. One of em said something like "I'm sorry, something something not like last time" (I forget exactly the quote"). I never concidered this before

The prequel thing just..can't make sense. There is next to no explanation as to why the animatronics have the exact same damage that gregory gave to em, gregory could not have been at the pizza plex before security breach due to no one knowing who he was during security breach, not JUST including the system. and it wouldn't make sense for the pizza plex to be suffering from graffiti and overgrowth if it was still being built. The "Why did you reopen" email wasn't talking about the pizza plex, but was referring to the past Freddy's locations, the email was asking fazbear entertainment "Why did you open a new restaurant". Not to mention in the dlc we can find vannys mask, how is that possible if Vanessa doesnt work there yet? The theory is just lacking, but It could be good to keep it in mind. At 2:18 Based on the fact that the golf thing is flipped over, it seems like they were in the process of picking it up. Were they taking it away? 2:31, Based on the fact that there is a box area on the left side where the daycare theatre used to be. They are probably planning to get rid of the theater. 4:11, why some of the fazerblast walls is knocked over I have no idea. Either from the collapse or renovation is happening. That’s if this really is a sequel.

I might be able to add some evidence to this theory, coincidentally, (Gregory probobly read these messages) but there are some messages talking about the first time the glamrocks were shattered, for instance, one was talking about how someone hit the hurricane hole in one and crushed Monty, it said that both legs were destroyed, and he needed emergency parts and service repairs, later, we see the same damage with Monty after Gregory does the same thing that first shattered him, so, yeah, same with the others, bit ots probably a sequel, considering Monty's claws, seemingly Chica's voicebox, and Roxy's eyes are gone

So somebody else said this in a different video, but that wasn’t actually Freddy that was a prototype it says on his foot

It might be one of those things where each ending is canon, and they connect together

it could be possible that after the burntrap ending as freddy said in another ending that he can not stay too long outside of the pizzaplex and ran back causing him to get damaged and gregory going back to safe Freddy but got trapped because of the remaining animatronics
