Thank you Dr V, you've saved me for wasting hundreds of dollars on medical grade brands that did nothing but inflame my skin and exacerbate my hyperpigmentation. You are so appreciated 💛
  • @sushmareddy3515
Minimalist launched a new product (PHA toner). Waiting for your approval 😀
  • Dr V, ❤️ can you do a video on how to use actives for inner thigh and knee pigmentation please! Would be really helpful!
  • @Nn-mu7jk
A full skincare routine with products which have these ingredients for combo skin would be great! I’d say I have more so hormonal acne, tend to get really red spots and have old dark acne brown marks/scars.
  • @deh-mei
Omg finally a physical sunscreen with no white cast I’m excited!!!!!!

For those looking for good serum/toner with less than 5% niacinamide to try and minimize purging Good Molecules is a great brand. Their Niacinamide brightening toner contains 3% (along with ethylated ascorbic A- and licorice root) and their Discoloration correction serum contains 4% niacinamide ( along with cetyl tranexamate mesylate aka gentle form of tranexamic A-). HTH. Cheers!

Thank you! I’ve struggled with acne since middle school 😩. Now I mainly struggle with hormonal acne and I’m trying to make changes to my skincare and all of your videos have helped me so much.

Wish I'd known this when I was 13 or so. I still have marks on my forehead from then and they still haven't faded or gone. I'm 22 now. Thank you so much for this! I really appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️
  • @Marie_CT
Thankful for you. I had kind of come to this conclusion after watching so many previous videos. “Salicylic/niacinamide/mandelic/“ is all I go for and my skin has been less irritated since leaving glycolic products alone. ❤️🙏🏾

Holy nuggets! Ahh! I’m so stinking excited, FINALLY someone who actually knows how to help us of color and actually understands the issues we have. You are AMAZING! I’ve been having an issue with acne my whole life and hitting 30 made it worse. I finally went to a dermatologist and he almost immediately put me on something called accutane and man it sucks. But I will be getting off of it after I watch your videos. Because now I’m excited to have good products for me my skin. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
  • Thank you Dr. V! Loved your pause, "followed by the words are not coming out." Goodness do I ever have those moments lately. I think our brains are overwhelmed by the stress of managing career, family and the ravages of Covid. Hang in there!
  • @tashathexplorer

  • Hi Dr. V, I'm thrilled to hear that you're developing a high SPF sunscreen for women of colour. When is it being released? Could you please make sure it will be able to ship to Canada? Much love 🥰
  • Waiting for minimalist layering for acne + pigmentation(red and brown spots)🙈
  • @himiR98
"the year 2020 we are all just walking around with acne marks" couldn't agree more.. I have got my first flare of acne in 2020 never had them before and now just left with ugly red brown spots.. I blame it on year and nothing else 😕😕
  • Hi dr v, still waiting for how to layer for acne+pigmentation skincare rountine. 🤞🏻😀
  • @jkelli
Future video idea: How to tell what kind of skin you have...oily, dry, dehydrated? Does acne look different on the different skin types?
