The Voices Behind Arcane Characters

they nailed it on the jinx voice actress, thats crazy it took them 3 years to find but thank god because i cant imagine any other voice doing that like it was done. it just feels so natural watching it. also it helps the script was absolutely fantastic well done by the creators

Most of these voice actors could literally play their character on a live action wtf lol. That's just fantastic

You know, i completely forgot that the first few episodes were on Powder before Jinx. When Powder first feels abandoned and when she's scolded later - the crying done by the voice talent - I mean damn that's scary

Perfect cast choices, they really made these characters feel "real"

Mia Sinclair's work on Powder in the EP3 finale was one of the most heart wrenching things I have ever witnessed.

Jinx's coat tho at 1:41. I know it's concept art and all, but imagine if she were to be willingly exiled from Piltover and just ran away to find new meaning and purpose in life while roaming Runeterra. And the creators decided to put on her that coat. Smells like a great way to write a good redemption arc for her in case they decide to turn her into a central character in every upcoming season.

The design and voice acting of Silco is just perfect

This show is one of the best cartoon series that i have watched this year! I'm really looking forward to season 2! There are so many things that makes this an amazing show like animation and visuals are beautiful, from the cities to the characters. What I especially enjoyed was how expressive the characters are. Many shows rely on speaking information outload to get it across to the audience- Arcane doesn't do that. It can communicate everything it needs to through it's characters facial expressions and their body language thought scenes. The action is enjoyable, it never felt over the top or boring. The action is pretty unique for each fighting scene and always hits the right note

I got to meet both JB Blanc, Ekko's voic actor, and Silco this past fall when they came to my city for comic con and got to sit in the Arcane panel to get inside scoops behind the scenes of season 1. And one tibit I learned in that Arcane panel, is Jason Spisak said that in order for him to find Silco's angle and doing his voice, which I now see when I rewatch season 1. He channels his voice like smoke that fills the room and manipulates those around him as influences.

I love Vanders character, JB Blanc did SUCH a good job, i felt the real care and love in his voice even in the tough scenes, they chose good, i cant wait for season 2 🤩
