27:38 dogtail is actually from a pvz game (pvz all-stars) and his plush design is pretty much accurate in every way to that one (accept the funky leaves). can’t believe dogtail slander is still acceptable in 2023 smh😔😔

I still don’t get why a big and popular game like PvZ had very few official plushies during it’s prime

im an extremely amateur sewist/plush maker but man this makes me wish i had the money to buy all the fabrics to my hearts content, cause i genuinely and fully believe that ALL of these would be plushie-able, some more than others of course. also so many of these couldve been made much better with thinner stems and simply having a wire of sorts inside, but i guess i dont know how easy adding a wire is to a mass produced design. secretly adding this to my list of things to do someday... itd be the project of my life with how time consuming and stressful it would inevitably be, but honestly? i think it would be so fun and end up being like my love letter to this game ive loved so much for so long.

ive actually seen a coffee bean plush before, like, in 2013 on ebay (when i was a small child). it looked really accurate, and even had wings, reminiscent of the earlier design of the plant

I own half of these and I can confirm that while they may look weird I love all of them. Pvz plushies were (and still are) a huge part of my life, and I'm working on getting new ones soon.

I just wanted to point out that the higher quality melon pult plush was actually based off the pvz 2 design, hence the lighter greens and pult. I loved this video!
