  • I distinctly remember a comic where Joker, Penguin, and Two-Face manage to fatally poison Batman . . . . until Robin convinces Two-Face to let his coin decide, at which point Two-Face forces the other two to hand Robin the antidote at gunpoint.

I love the “FUCK YOU, THIS MY CITY TO DESTROY” trope amongst villains in comics

The nod of respect Freeze and Gordon had was such a good moment. No words needed, they know this changes nothing about their occupations, just making it clear to both of them that when there's no other choice, they have each other's back.
  • @thegameboy710
Anyone else gonna talk about how the joker acted like batman's wife? "You just gonna let him talk to me like that!" Hell funny
  • @rory8182
Love the Flash, even though they are enemies, he will still mourn them
  • @Dingotitan
Can we as a community forget the Injustice movie exists? I can't imagine dropping the ball that hard when you've got a distinct and amazing path to follow.
  • @WilliamWizer
there's one single sentence that resumes why criminals would help batman. this was once said by the joker: "I may be a criminal lunatic, but I'm an american criminal lunatic." most of batman's enemies have similar ideas. they would never allow other criminals to destroy/damage/conquer/... their country/city. even if they have to side with batman to prevent it.

Villains having the potential to reform is critical to rationalizing the no-kill rule. Almost every one of Batman's rogues gallery has turned good at one point, even in the main continuity. When Paul Dini was on Detective Comics, he went on a long streak of having bad guys turn good.
  • honestly I love this trope, the villains of the hero coming to his aid only for the next day things to go back to business as usual
  • The Deathstroke one makes sense. He’s not just a plain villain. Man goes where he sees fit or where the money goes or just does what he believes in. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad.
  • @srwfanatic
The fact that Batman doesn’t kill is a key point of his character. The villains knowing well that despite this man is strong, determined and feared,he values life and stick to his principles. An honourable opponent who beats them at their game no matter what they brings to the board. To make Batman admit his defeat is their ambition ,yet to lose a formidable opponent is not their desire.Maybe to the villains,Batman is just like one of them. There’s no hatred between most of them, just a sense of rivalry
  • @Moviemakertri
Flash isn't the only regime member with a conscience. Let's not forget that Shazam died speaking against superman.
  • I'm sure several of Batman's enemies respect him. Bane, Ras al Ghoul & Riddler do. But several more would never admit it... like Killer Croc (at least to Batman's face anyways).
  • @dmcfan3845
The smartest hero is not the one who can call his friends for help but the one who can make his enemies his Allies
  • @Jay_76
One of the villians you forgot to mention. During Superman's Regime, it was actually Lex Luthor that helped Batman get all his inside information.
  • Joker doesn't need to know who batman really is he already knows it just he doesn't care about that the fun would end for him
  • @pines3326
Kinda expected to see Harley Quinn here since she was one of the MVPs during Joker War, constantly saving Batman whenever he got incapacitated
  • 14:41 YOU DID IT! You actually included the fact that Joker helped in Telltale Series. This video is perfection of the video called 5 times Joker saved Batman.
