I made this for my coworkers and they were a hit. Everyone loved them and were so happy to get one. I used butter flavored crisco because that was I had in my house and they were perfection! Thank you.

All right finally a crispy cookie right up my alley. I'd probably bake them a little longer to see if I could get them a little browner and a little crispier. Not everybody likes a soft chewy cookie. I'm all about the crunch and I could hear you crunching. This is a must try. And I like toasting of the pecans usually I take mine and put them in a skillet with a little butter and get that good flavor on them. Makes all the difference in the world. Sometimes I make them without the chocolate chips I call them Pecan Blondies delicious. Thanks First Lady, thanks Miriam 👍🍪🍪🍪
