You say I'm late? heh, what are ya talkin about? 8 months is nothing. Real talk though, I'm happy to finally have this one uploaded. These 3 have been on my bucket list for years now, generally the first boss of Cuphead (unless you choose to fight Goopy first) and seeing as this was probably the most requested thing for me to do ever, I'm glad I can cross off the 5 Inkwell Isle I bosses, even if some of them are from older videos that I'm not very fond of. This was basically like making 3 videos and uploading it as 1, so I'm gonna pretend like that somewhat warrants the wait, but yeah no it doesn't in my eyes.

Sal Spudder (Potato): 0:00
Ollie Bulb (Onion): 2:22
Chauncey Chantenay (Carrot): 4:45
Outro: 6:52

Cuphead by: Studio MDHR
Cuphead Music by: Kristofer Maddigan

The moment I saw that xylophone playing while making Sal, it was game over for me. Mind officially blown đź‘Ź
  • @Grizz..
You’ve definitely have gotten even better with the building and animation
  • Thats the fastest root pack speedrun ive ever seen. Seriously the animation is flawless and so smooth. Really good job

Let me say if I ever get these pieces I’ll will definitely build them all, just a masterpiece. (Also idea: maybe you could make some dlc bosses!)
  • @LeisgordASMR
Your video is genuinely awesome from the stunning beginning (the xylo animation is astonishing) to the hilarious end x) Thank you 🔥🔥
  • @Chokun-Gaming
The shaping of these is some top quality stuff, and the pieces being synced to the beat makes it even better outro is also as good as always

My god, this is nostalgic. Used to watch these videos waiting for the school days to start, such an astonishing concept of lego building that my dumb self couldn’t understand. It really made me more creative, to use what I have to make something great. These videos are absolutely beautiful, and the animation showed me how much you’ve evolved. Amazing video, and thank you!

I can see that the stop motion animation is getting a lot better now! Keep up the great work :)

A couple things I'd like to address here: 1) I do not plan to ever go that long without uploading again. 2) I'm aware that Sal isn't yellow and should be more of a brown similar to what I used for Ollie's secondary colour, although I barely had enough to make Ollie with that, the 2011 Hogwarts Castle set and Baby Yoda set came in clutch for that. To make Sal in that colour too would be impossible for me given the parts I currently have. 3) I decided to skip making Horace Radiche since I already made 3 characters and because I never really considered him to be among the Root Pack. I think of him as just an extra that shows up in an alternate path, and I just wanted this to be about the core 3 members. I may make him later but I gave him the axe for now. 4) People have asked me to make a how to build on the smaller Cuphead and Mugman that I use for my outros, although I never considered them worthy of a video at all. They're just things I threw together to have them in scale with the bosses I make. However the Cuphead I made for this video's outro will definitely get a video, because it isn't 100% trash like the small scale guys. 5) I'm adding a 5th point in, because I HAVE to address this. The comment section has been HOWLING at me because of 7:08. Cuphead didn't shoot Ollie, so realistically that would activate the secret phase. The funny thing is that I actually WAS aware of that when making the video. So why is it like that then you ask? Honestly just pacing, I didn't wanna have to emphasize Cuphead shooting a bullet and interrupting Ollie's animation before he starts crying, nor did I want to randomly add in a bullet on the left or something, I just wanted one clean scene. Let's just say it's an older build of the game. One comment that pointed that out started their comment with In a nerd voice and that made me think of the stupid Pac-Man meme whenever I read one of those comments. Nothing else to add about that, I just thought that was funny.
  • That sequence with the xylophone was insane!! Your stop motion skills are out of this world dude why aren't you a part of Tim Burtons team yet
  • @TheDow
This was amazing so excited to see what you make next
  • This is unironically one of the most amazing and well done videos I’ve seen on all of YouTube. This was impeccable
  • @PomPro_Content
The legends back!! Honestly I love watching your video not for the tutorial for the amazing stop motion like you are insane! Keep up the good work!
  • Holy crap dude the amount of effort put into not only the legos but the stop motion as well especially that xylophone part would have taken INSANE amounts of time and effort and many errors needed to fix! This is nuts glad I found your channel thanks for this amazing art piece!
  • @loganwilson2761
the effort you put into these videos is incredible man, time between uploads in fine if you're producing content like this
  • Great video! I love how the stop motion flows whit the music, that part whit the xylophone was amazing and the build are so similar to the game characters!
  • @edalma1367
Dude excellent job on making these guys, and editing them too, I especially love how you made Sal spin the screen, the xylophone that popped up, and the end animation.
