The Outer Banks are barrier islands off the coast of the U.S. state of North Carolina, separating the Atlantic Ocean from the mainland. Their open-sea beaches, state parks and shipwreck diving sites make them a popular holiday destination. Roanoke Island was the site of England’s first settlement in the New World, an endeavor sponsored by Sir Walter Raleigh.

Some of the places we explore are:

The Bodie Lighthouse, Buxton Woods, Cape Hatteras, Fort Raleigh, Pea Island, The Avon Fishing Pier, Jockey Ridge, Jennette’s Pier along with some of the BEST beaches in North Carolina!

I went to the Outer Banks, last September, it was the best experience I ever had, and I’m actually just watching this video so I can be reminded of the great time I had there and the Wright brothers memorial you need to visit that’s the top 5

  • I'm Canadian and I'll be heading to OBX on August 13th for a mini vacation. I hope the people there won't correct my pronunciation/annunciation of certain words like all theses people in this comment section. Chill out guys and gals...😊 Edit Update: The OBX is a little piece of heaven. Loved Nags Head ❤️
