S.M.Entertainment's new girl group Red Velvet is coming back with 5 members!
Red Velvet will release their first album on March 18th while coming back with SEULGI, IRENE, WENDY, JOY and the newly joined member YERI!
With the new member, Red Velvet will widen the range or their musical potential and maximize the synergy effect among the members and present high quality performances.
The new member YERI (16) joined SMTOWN in year 2011 and performed during the August SMTOWN concery in Seoul. She's skilled in not only singing, but also rapping and dancing, leaving us to anticipate how she will contribute to the existing group.
Red Velvet will release the fist album on March 18th and start promotion.

Red Velvet은 3월 18일 첫 앨범을 발표하며 기존 멤버인 슬기, 아이린, 웬디, 조이에 새로운 멤버 예리가 합류해 5인조로 컴백,
이러한 변화를 통해 Red Velvet의 음악적 스펙트럼을 확장함은 물론, 멤버 간의 재능, 매력 등의 시너지 효과를 극대화해
더욱 완성도 높은 음악과 무대를 선사할 계획이어서, 향후 Red Velvet의 활약에 더욱 귀추가 주목된다.
새 멤버 예리(16)는 2011년 SM에 캐스팅된 멤버로, 노래, 랩, 댄스 등 다방면에 재능을 고루 갖췄으며, 프리데뷔팀인 SMROOKIES의 멤버로 공개되어, 2014년 8월 ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ 서울 공연에서 ‘보랏빛 향기’, ‘No No No No No’ 무대를 선사해 시선을 사로잡은 바 있다.
Red Velvet은 3월 18일 첫 앨범을 출시하고 본격적인 활동에 나선다.

Adding Yeri was the best decision ever. And I can't believe she got hated then 😢 Yeri isn't even *new to the girls, they all trained together for years. That's why when Yeri was added the others didn't have to adjust or something. Anyway, I am so proud of Yeri for all the achievements she has now under her belt. She is truly an artist, and I will always love & support her. 🥺💖💜😘💝

The fact that yeri is only ONE YEAR older than aespa's oldest member karina but debuted 6 YEARS AGO is really an eye opener to how young she was when she debuted. She was legit a kid when she debuted and yet got so much hate. She practically grew up with hate which is just sad and disgusting. Glad she is finally getting praise because of her acting at least.
