The most hardass person in the room is the only one who thanked Peter for saving them and he’s the only one who wouldve survived being shot
  • @sayfskillz5779
This guy singlehandedly saved the x-men franchise in just 2 scenes
  • @Takisfueg0
The fact that this movie was made 10 years ago and looks 100 times better than the vfx from Flash
  • @DaivaDasa
Fun Fact: This scene took seven months of vfx work to achieve as it involved a LIDAR scan of the set with incredibly detailed CGI props, multiple particle effects, and carefully compositing in Evan Peters' performance.

Logan, the only person who wouldn't have died there because of his healing is also the only person that actually bothers to thank him
  • @hughmungus7290
I like how the only person who thanked him for saving them was the only guy who couldn't die

I love how the utensils move in the direction he was running in as if he left a trail of wind behind. Such detail!
  • @Jay-gc2bv
I love how his footsteps break the wall as he’s running, because there is so much force behind his movements with the speed that he’s going and the momentum he has

I could watch a whole movie of Quicksilver fucking around with people for a big payoff to cool music.
  • Fox's Quicksilver is so fast that even the MCU didnt realize he is already in their universe.

Every year, we realise more just how well executed this scene was. Absolute milestone in what can be achieved with these superhero movies.

1:51 that heartwarming smile he makes at the end after moving the bullets not only shows how much he loves his powers but also shows the joy he gets from saving a life
  • @niirex4713
I think we all agree, Quicksilver has the coolest scenes and gets way too little screentime.
  • @ManofSex69
I think they did quicksilver right here. He seems EXTREMELY overpowered, but he’s still a goofy kid who doesn’t seem to want to seriously hurt anyone
  • @THEODSTKING117
Still the best speedster sequence in live action. That new Flash movie really tried to match this but didn’t come close

A cinematic masterpiece scored with a timeless song that fits so well. We lost Jim Croce too soon. He was a gift and I'm glad his memory lives on in this amazing scene forever etched in Hollywood.

...looks like he didn't forget to visit his sister either...

Not only did they make this scene absolutely stunning, but they hit all the right details to make this truly feel like the overpowered ability that superspeed is. And the absolute attention to detail with all of the water droplets, the way things move around him from the wind he creates, the way things seem to speed up when he gets close to them and then slow back down as he stops affect them. It's all so perfectly well done, and it's insane that nothing like this has even come close in 10 years

Whoever chose this song for the scene deserves an award
