The scene from Rocky 2 where the children run behind Rocky always gets tears in my eyes... Truly inspiring
  • Rocky II with kids - Signifying that this time he wasn't alone; the whole city was rootin' for him.

Rocky IV training will always be my favorite. He has no weights, no treadmill. It's all body weight or using anything that's available to him, even running through the snow. It's all heart.

Little did Stallone know how iconic the first training montage would become.

RIP Carl Weathers, thanks for your unforgettable performances as The Count Of Monte Fisto, Dancing Destroyer, King Of Sting, Master Of Disaster, Prince Of Punch, Thane Of Pain, One And Only Apollo Creed. A true champion of the world

Rocky 3's training montage will forever be my favorite, seeing him train with Apollo is just the best.

I’m turning 56 this month. I still work out, every day, no exceptions. The first time I completed a 10 mile run, several years ago, I raised my hands and yelled “dra-goooo!”… I can’t pick a favorite of these though… love them all….

Rocky got me in the gym as a teenage boy, almost 30 years later, he's still getting me in there. Adrien telling him "win" in Rocky II, Apollo telling him "there is no tomorrow" in Rocky III, and his unforgetable speech to his son in Rocky Balboa, these will always pull me out of a bind.

None of the kids will ever forget running to the museum with Rocky.

Now that Carl Weathers has passed away, the Rocky III training scene hits deeper and is more emotional. RIP Apollo and keep punching.

When Adrian says “There’s one thing I want you to do for me: Win!” And the music starts after that line, I get goosebumps every time!

The Rocky IV montage is so intimate. Nobody running with him, Apollo Creed not with him, in enemy territory, and fighting for a much bigger reason than a belt. The scream at the end as the sun's setting was a masterstroke too.
  • I love the solemnity and solitude you could feel from the first montage. Feels like one guy against the world, with few help from friends here and there. But mostly, he's the focus
  • @rogerrambo4172
I love that Rocky is really breaking the fourth wall when tells the kids 'c'mon c'mon' hes talking to the audience, were on the journey together
  • Rocky got me through some tough stuff in my life. Abuse as a child, suicidal ideations, being diagnosed with cancer, chemo, a cheating wife right after I got chemo at my local VA. ". . .Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, nobody's going to hit harder than life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can GET hit and keep movin' forward, how much you can take and keep movin' forward. THAT'S HOW WINNIN' IS DONE! . . ."

This series got me introduced into boxing at a young age. Currently 8-1 as a pro boxer and even though I'm not famous it's always soul touching watching these movies knowing how much it inspired me to follow this path

Rocky 1 Making a statement Rocky 2 Winning it all Rocky 3 Losing it all, and getting it back Rocky 4 Revenge Rocky Balboa Making a statement
  • @jarmelo2006
Man Rocky helped a kid like me out of the hood. Simply by helping me believe in me and that a loser can be a winner.✌🏾❤️
