The Alpine F1 Team Is FINISHED!

If you have watched a lot of my videos, or any of them really, you’ll know how little I think of the Alpine F1 team. Oscar Piastri and Fernando Alonso giving them the middle finger a couple of years ago was just the start of it. The mass firing of their management team was an absolute joke. They stooped to a new low when they ran to Flavio Briatore for help, a man who should never be allowed at an F1 race never mind having any kind of involvement in a team, especially the one that he cheated at. Do Renault have no shame? As they have imploded over the past couple of years, the end of the team has looked more and more likely and recent announcements about their engine department is the final straw. With Renault shutting down their engine department and announcing they will be buying a large number of parts off Mercedes, the end of Alpine is here, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m George, this is F1 Reverse, and you’re watching Don’t @ Me, the show where I’m allowed to get some things off my chest. Let’s get started.

Trust Alpine to fire their team principal after i make this video!
  • I've changed my mind. Give us Andretti. At least they're actually trying to be competitive.

I have been an engineer for my entire working life. There is a saying about French engineering that I have heard many times in my career. " French engineers copy no one, and no one copies them. "
  • @_JimS
Wow....the French surrendering ......shocker. Who cares where they get their engines....can you say Aston Martin/Honda? I bet Andretti F1 is salivating at the ringing of this dinner bell.
  • @scottperry9581
There's a whole lot of Dunning Kruger going on in the Alpine executive suite.
  • @SilentKaliSmoker
McLaren have beaten Mercedes, so it's not impossible. But I agree with everyone else they should sell to Andretti. Someone willing to put in the time to be competitive.
  • @tavyturean5725
The only way Andretti are allowed into F1 is if there are no other (legitimate) buyers.
  • @gh0stm0nst3r6
To be fair, I figured this would happen anyway after that last Hollywood investment round. I think that was the whole point. I'm not even a Renault F1 fan, but even I noticed that you missed a good amount of their achievements here.
  • @Alfaracer156
Relative succes in the early '90's? Mansell, Prost, Hill (even Hill) en Villeneuve, Schumacher became champions with Renault Engines?! Get your facts straight...
  • @chriswirges5202
Actually, the chassis and aero package is pretty good, it's just the engine. Being a customer Team isn't all that bad, look at McLaren. This would be a good opportunity for Andretti to pick them up.
  • I’ve got to say that I’ve never liked Alpine. So, what they need is, a plan for the plan for the plan. If that doesn’t work, how about a plan for the plan for the plan for the plan plan. Better still, how about getting out of F1 altogether. Just thinking, how about putting a croissant in the back of the car.
  • @glianearlan
Andretti must take advantage on this to Enter F1
  • @hishers251
When they brought in that sleaze bag Flavio, they showed the world they have zero ethics. Gasly is 2nd rate, and politics does seem to reign supreme in the team. Wonder if Sainz will go there, would be a shame if he ends up in this crap team.

I thought you were an Ai voice. Thank you for showing your face. Now I will listen to the channel more often. A lot of times I would get drawn in to watching only to skip to a different channel because I thought this was a faceless AI-generated channel.

Hey Michael Andretti. Renault is going to have a fire sale soon.
