Majorkill and leutin are good 40k youtubers to learn more the lore, leutin does MASSIVE in depth videos that are like an hour each and majorkill does quick overview of lore bits in like 10-20 minute videos

Funny thing, throughout the entire game I was waiting for Titus to die in a cutscene and then be saddled as boring recruitbaby Leandros. From all the tropes at that time it was basically surefire that the cool vet dude is gonna die and you'll actually be playing mr recruitface. Needless to say I ended up being really surprised at the end.
