Thanks a lot once again to Coloso ( ‪@colosoglobal‬ / coloso.global/) for sponsoring a video on my channel. This is my second time taking a full online course on digital art and it's been such an informative experience - my brain is still melting over the amount of info being processed and (hopefully) stored XD Gatan is such a wonderful teacher and I can only recommend her course.

Anddd we have another pot of color gold! The understanding of shape language in the lighting process is amazing. The mention of the terminator is now something I'm going to be thinking about for a while. Awesome video as usual and thank you.
  • Thanks for sharing! I would love to see the full speed paint of the piece you did using what you learned it looks great!
  • Man this course is tempting. Colosso has an overwhelming array of things I want to learn. I'm going through Marc Brunet's course right now and he also says to study from your favorite artists. I have to say that has given me such a boost to find my own short hand/style when sketching and drawing. At first I was wary of studying from others because I don't want to copy but it seems to have the opposite effect which is weird lol. Your character looks stunning great effects and it looks like you learned lots on shading! Shading/colouring is so hard for me too I've resorted to softened cell shading style. I would love to do that really crisp, highly rendered look especially on clothes and shoes!. Anyway sorry I rambled here haha!
  • @saiyanbura
Wow you sold this course completely. Not only does the art look gorgeous but it sounds like a fresh take on teaching this stuff.
  • @feyrie
I absolutely love that you share what you learn here❤
  • @ashina13
Omg girl !!! Best tips ever thank you for this ❤
  • @bells8113
Thank you so much for this! I am currently looking for online courses that tackle all of the things you mentioned. So this is perfect for me! <3 I really need to make time to take this course. <3
  • Thanks this really helped with my struggling for colouring! :D and anatomy
  • Thank you so much for sharing. I was always wondering where to put the hard edges and where the soft blending. Now I have a guideline. Can't wait to put this new knowledge into practice.... as soon as I can physically draw again 😅 I overworked a bit and my hand responded with revenge. XD Fortunately, it is already getting better. So, hopefully just one more week of not creating.

  • @zpurplex
I wish it had more about how you used the techniques you learned instead of being a review of the course, and I love the drawing! Turned out awesome and it's very you ✨
