Easily the best, clearest, and most understandable explanation I've seen so far on YouTube. Thank you!!

I was slow on the uptake, too...have my CC's in iPhone Wallet and it's so convenient paying with my phone and/or Apple watch.
  • @Redvstrom
I have been using digital payments for a long time and have never had an issue.
  • Wow !!!!!!!!!   Thank you,  I am 75.  I'm not a dummy,  In fact I know a lot about computers, electronics and I try to keep up with technology.   I want to thank you for breaking this subject down to plain English ( with a clear and distinctive voice ) that even an old-timer like me to a 13 year old child can Distinctively comprehend.

Thanks for sharing this, Clark! I’m a long time listener of your radio show and am just now discovering your YouTube channel. I’ve never used digital wallet but will likely give Apple Pay a try by the end of the year.

Can you add Transit Cards for buses n subways on a Samsung pay app, especially if you have a Galaxy S20 with Magnetic reader? Does Galaxy S20 FE support it?
  • I have been going back and forth on whether or not to set up my digital wallet on my iPhone, so thanks for the info. Makes me feel a little better about it.

Hey Clark, could you do a video about Home Title Lock? I see a lot of ads for it. Is it help or hype? Thanks!

Two potential issues that affect digital wallets: 1) Back end digital payment servers/systems are down: Can affect you adversely if you don't have backup - but I always carry backup credit/debit cards securely on my person. 2) Scammers will pay using digital wallets and then once the transaction is completed, void the transaction. But this is true of other payment systems - but credit cards have a tracking system that can be contested.

How does it work at restaurants. Do you hand the phone over with the checkbook.

Looks like a oneplus 8 pro and a samsung active 2 watch... just like me! I use keyring app for my infinity cards and google pay (not android pay since it was renamed about a year ago) for payments. It's faster than even a chip card insert.

In Philippines they still don't know Google Pay but is working in 90% terminals there

What about autopay accounts (discount for autopay)? I have one that uses a bank account, & one that uses credit card?
  • @ponder889
You didn’t mention wether debit cards are secure on the digital wallet.

I can see using digital wallet is a good first choice but not all payment devices accept them.

Good Explanation , will subscribe to channel, I see your other video's about Savings which is important in these days of uncertainty. Although I'm pretty good at savings , never hurts to hear other views, options, even though I'm at the bottom of the earth ( Australia ) haha..
