What Was Cain's Mark?

If it Cain's mark was not literal how would those who would have killed him notice it?

I’ve been watching your sermon’s and teachings for about 2-3 months. I was brought up Christian, believe in Jesus Christ. You have help me in knowing from the Bible no matter my sin Jesus has saved me today. I have felt unworthy for more than 45 years but today I’m forgiven and feel it in my heart. Thank you for your dedication to God and all of us.

It took a "lettered, tenured, educated Bible scholar" 45 minutes to say "i dont know what the mark of Cain is". Bless his heart.

Some years ago I went through something while I was a leader in the church. It was a marital issue. And even though I could feel and see God close to me, I tried to fix things instead of waiting on The Lord. I eventually abandoned my positions in the church and even though I didn't go back to a worldly lifestyle I believe that I strayed from the path. Today I feel The Lord calling and taking me back to a life as a church leader. These studies have both encouraged and enriched me greatly. Please help me pray. I also have a brother, Carlos, in a Physical Rehab hospital in Fla. He's a dialysis patient. Help us pray for him. God bless you!

Also, let God lead you!! Try not to listen to every foolish thing people say, including that you take too long in explaining the word!! Not everyone is in a rush!! Go as quick as God tells you!! That's how people miss things and don't get the CORRECT interpretation and understanding! Good job!! 😊

How did people know when they saw that the mark on Cain was to warn them?
