I always forget what the time is in EST so I came to YouTube hoping to find a “sometimes on the odd occasion a Sunday video” has been uploaded. And hooray it has! Lol, Tom is this the worst mucking out you’ve ever had to do? Your cows appreciate everything you do for them even if they don’t see how hard you work! ♥️♥️♥️ One question though, how bad is the smell? Worse than normal slurry or about the same? 💩 Or maybe you’ve gotten used to the smell and we need Jo to chime in? 😅 I hope you had a nice long shower/bath and some good food whilst relaxing later that evening ‘cause you more than earned it!

Hey Tom, make sure those bolts for the orange hose you put down are stainless steel. I saw them rust away in only two years in the harsh environment of a slurry store. Good luck!

I’ve spent many hours in cow manure in my lifetime. It’s not a fun job but it’s satisfying when everything is nice and clean. Another great video! I can’t wait to see all your cows in the new loafing barn.

This is one of those tasks that validates my decision to go into IT as a career. Thank you Tom for all that you do for us, your customers, and the farming industry in sharing the experiences of working a dairy farm. This is the stuff one can never truly learn in a classroom.

Tom hire a gas monitor when you go Into a tank. It could save your life!
