I LOVE this movie! It did get a decent sequel, but this one is TOP TIER. The semi-retired badass trope is done so well. I easily rate RED over the entire Expandables franchise 💪🏾

One of the funniest action comedies ever made! I saw this and RED 2 in the theater with my parents and we loved every minute of it! There was going to be a third film in development, but was cancelled due to the poor reception of RED 2, as well the retirement of Bruce Willis. There's even a TV series based on the video in development, but it might take a while, due to ongoing SAG WGA STRIKE.

One of favorite things to do on a rewatch of this is just watch Malkovich's facial expressions in the background. He's awesome.

Marvin shooting that guy in the head at the end is for literally no other reason other than because he wanted to and because he’s crazy there’s not a lot of reasons for why Marvin does what he does period he’s just doing Marvin things 😂😂

This was Helen Mirren's first action movie, and if'n you can find an interview with her when the movie came out, it's great hearing her talk about in her day women didn't play roles like this, and how much fun she had doing this.

Malkovich shooting Dreyfuss is a call back to him wanting to do so when they first met and Morgan Freeman saying Dreyfuss "Wasn't Worth a Bullet".

This is one of the best underrated comedies of all time. I love when Malkovich shoots that RPG warhead and he says “Old man my ass”. Also Bruce Willis is freaking amazing in this movie!

Totally badass they are when they are Retired Extremely Dangerous lol. Ernest Borgnine scene with Bruce Willis was my favorite and hilarious. But the fight scene between Willis vs. Urban was amazing. It was just no holds barred match.

I need an Expendables-Style movie starring Helen Miran, Lucy Lawless, Angela Bassett, Linda Hamilton, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Yeoh, Geena Davis, Demi Moore and Pam Grier. Bring in Charlize Theron, Viola Davis and Angelina Jolie as surprise cameos.
