    i remember reading a comment somewhere that the moonbeast's neck fur, being black, was a reference to Melisa's neck getting ran over

    Tbh I just want to hug Melissa,I mean the sprite. I know it’s fictional and that’s a ghost,but I mean I would think she definitely deserves a hug. I don’t know why,I just want to.

    I think one other thing that may have been a sign to Melissa was early on in the story where the protagonist fights the giant Moguera and his sprite disintegrates, he notes that the glitched text forms something that resembles a bird in a cage. It could be a reference to how Melissa has been trapped in the game by Red, as if it was a cage preventing her from passing on to the next life.

    Hmmm maybe the TV screens represent what happened on Earth while Godzilla was fighting with Red. Maybe Earth was worshiping Red and that would be the future of humanity if Zach did not kill Red in the game.

    Another one is that Zach says that the specific thing that haunted him about Melissa's death is her staring right at him when she is run over, and specifically mentions that he was looking straight into her eyes. In the 2nd fight against Gezora, Gezora's eye teleports everywhere when he dies. I think that this is supposed to be a reference to Melissa's eyes.
