  • John Fogerty is an American classic and national treasure. CCR still sounds great today all these DECADES later.
  • @melbae.1124
Can't believe that gentle voice of John is transformed into a powerful lion roar when he sings!!
  • @ernestgamez9794
Regardless of their differences this group remains one of the best ever. A legend
  • @stevedrums1675
John looks about as comfortable with these guys as I would be with my ex.
  • I am so happy for John that the second act of his musical career has brought him great success - he deserves it - what a great great talent
  • @Ronbo710
John created more than the songs. He created a sound . Exponentially more difficult.
  • @lanes58
John Fogerty wrote the songs, came up with the trademark riffs, and sang the lead. He was CCR, without him, no CCR.
  • @jpbown7
Some of the truly best music of the century, definitely a top 10 talent of the century John Fogerty was and is.
  • John Fogerty with his family on the back porch during the covid is the best thing on Youtube.
  • @JeaneGenie
Despite all the bad blood over the years they all showed great dignity receiving this award, and they are so deserving of being members of the hall of fame.

What an extraordinary talent in John Fogerty. It's truly remarkable that he not only wrote, sang, played and arranged the material, it's that he brought together a sound and style of music of another place from where he was from. Even people from there (Louisiana), said they thought CCR was from there!!
  • @nevergrowedup
When I bought my first car in 1972, the first 8-track I bought was CCR. Still love their music today.
  • @Weirdbald
I thought John was remarkably magnanimous and very mature here. Well done to him.
  • Knowing had badly he was hurt by Creedence I am just glad that John showed true Professionalism in a hard time
  • @rubenybarra7287
Congratulations to Clearance Clearwater Revival. They deserve it. It's a good thing that CCR brought us very good music. All LEGENDS! Rock 4 Ever!
  • @susanstorm6182
❤CCR...Truly great band and music. A huge part of the soundtrack of a generation that was blessed with the best music ever. John Fogerty was the genius behind the bands success. Its extremely sad when record companies and ego's ruin a good thing. There would be no Credence without John Fogerty. That's just the way it is. I'm really glad he's happy now and we still have the music! ❤

I thought John showed major class, after his band-mates stabbed him in the back, abandoning him, while, he was held hostage by the record company. The guy grating on our nerves (with his long acceptance speech), was the drummer and yes, he had some unique, great drum work. I just don't get his bag, though. Today, John's concerts kick it and generations, get it! His song 'Suzie Q' was the staple of my high school stomps and dances. His music is eternal and his beat comes from deep within all of us. Earthy, yet classy what a combination! We love you, John! Blessings to you and your family
