bruh so exodia was a hero back in the ancient times, who saved egypt, and they reward his ass by locking him up?? LMAO Edit: 8 years later from when this comment was made lol later i want to point out i was high as fuck when i made this comment xD

Looks like someone forgot to believe in the heart of the cards...
-
you call exodia your friend and yet you sealed him away into 5 pieces.
-
Ah! Exodia! It's not possible! Nobody's been able to summon him. Except for that one time.
-
Exodia's power was limited by the old man's will
-
"And now because of Exodia's effect i can declare an automatic wi-!" Bakura: I activate Zorc's special effect!" "What is it?! Bakura: "SCREW THE RULES"
-
hmm, damn old man with his weak ass life force made exodia look bad.
-
Exodia got beat? Nah... I'm gonna forget I just watched that...
-
So Exodia protected Egypt and his reward was to be sealed damn they were lucky Exodia wasn't jst like fuck this I'm out
-
Ah! Exodia...ITS NOT POSSIBLE!!!

What I loved about Exodia is that he was the ultimate monster in the first 3 episodes, but then completely dropped for the God Cards and left to us in the real world with a really cool concept of getting all the cards of this mysterious and powerful monster that was only used once, and it was the most epic thing to see destroying all 3 blue eyes. Then never comes back. Sure the rare Hunter had it but it wasn't as memorable compared to the others because it was an episode dedicated to counter that card.

Could you imagine if yugi was able to get his hands on all 5 Exodia cards again and shocks everyone when he summons it in his duel with Atem in the finale? The first duel of the series and the last duel both ended with Exodia.
-
Poor Exodia, first he was split into 5 different parts and banished despite defending Egypt with his life by some old geezer who rather insultingly refers to him as a "friend", then when he is finally put back together, he's brutally sliced in half by an evil megalomaniac because he only had access to the limited power provided by the same old man who sealed in him away in the first place.
-
exodia deserved far better than that.
-
I still get goosebumps to this day hearing exodias soundtrack
-
I call bullshit on this entire scene! Exodia should've owned Zorc!
-
Behold! The Great Defender of Egypt - EXODIA! Love that line.

As cool as it was to see Exodia and see him fight Zorc, I would have much rather preferred it be Atem to summon him and win the fight with Exodia, just like in the first episode with Kaiba, sort of like the series coming back full circle. It started with Exodia, it should have ended with Exodia.

To be perfectly honest i think exodia was feared even by the gods, infinite strength sealed into one being? Having to be sealed by 5 individual stones? Someone got shook...
-
I like it how exodia can use Kamehameha
