Thank you so much for this review. As a 15 year with parents who like me paying for all my stuff this was an expensive investment and your video really helped me to choose this bike.
  • Great video thanks You are right you are the only English speaking review Looking to get one

Nice video they do make great bikes have a XC900s and it is ace took a gamble and was very happy when I went to pick it up. Need to do a review on it really.
  • Ok peeps, this vid is for anyone like me who wants to see more of this bike b4 buying. If u find it useful, please like & sub. Quite fancy the idea of creating a proper channel. Gotta start somewhere lol
  • Been looking into this bike... Nice to find an English review mate. How's the bike holding up on the trails? And is the front forks coil or air ? Great video keep up the good work

Nice video, can you tell us about the suspension/shox? how do they perform on rough descends?
  • Hi guys, so it been a while since I posted this video and I still get the odd comment asking about the bike. I want to share my one big concern about this and Btwin mtbs in general. They are very well built and specced, but they are not good in the geometary department e.g. the XC100S has a very slack seat tube angle which can make you feel quite stretched out while seated. Coupled with a long chain stay and relatively forward BB, this gives you very short effective reach. Approx 400mm in size large. This in my opinion is a huge issue that I only became aware of after changing bikes. I'm 6ft and currently riding 444mm reach and that still feels short. So if you are looking at this bike, be very aware of the frame geo and make sure you test ride to make sure it's a good fit!

Hi thanks for the video. Bumped into this one now with 1x12 gears. Saving up budget now to replace my old 26er which consist of a lot 2nd hand components, not matching up. This makes it less and less fun to ride. I was always focused to get a Canyon Neuron AL 6.0. But this Rockrider will save me around €600.00! How do you think these bikes compare and did you tried different wheel sizes like 29, 27.5 and 27.5 plus? Additional question: Did you have any negative experiences caused by the 69.5 angled head tube? Being the bike too nervous to steer?

Hi, thanks for the video, have you got the link for the saddle you featured? Looking to replace but cant see to find this one?
  • What is the hidden kind of function of the arch by the front fork you've talkt about?
  • Look out for a more detailed vid on the xc100s suspension.. Coming soon.

almost a year on, hows the bike holding up? any problems? I have a hardtail but find it uncomfortable so i have been looking at this bike
  • I'm looking at one of these right now. There is nothing XC focussed at around this price point from anyone at all, even at £1100 it is on it's own. Everything else is trail geo with longer travel. You have to jump up to a 2019 Rocky Mountain Element A30 to get something comparable (and then it's only a 1x10 Deore Transmission, no remote lockouts and an entry level Judy fork). Just not sure after years of riding Specialized, Kona and Cube I can buy a sports store bike (although my mates Calibre has been excellent).
  • What size is is, I'm thinking about getting one but I cant decide on the size properly
  • @TopsMiah
Hi, how did you get it for £750?
  • My XC100S is for sale. Available with all my upgrades, or as per shop spec. See my ebay listing: 193330588173
