When you cleaned leggins with brush 1:35 - they clearly became clean.

Not to nerd out too much, lamellar armour isn't one type of armour, it's a whole bunch of different kinds of armour spanning 2000 years or more and it comes in both light and heavy variants. Classic samurai armour you'd see in most films and media is of the heavy variety, with large overlapping fitted metal plates. Early European varieties tended to be lighter and more flexible, but even there we have heavier versions with smaller plates and lighter versions with larger and fewer overlapping plates. So, there's no easy answer. For this playthrough, the better divide might be leather or not-leather, but if you're wedded to the light-heavy divide, I'd say anything that isn't plate armour could be deemed "light" (though light plate mail is a thing, as is heavy chain mail) whether that makes perfect sense or not. In other words, there's no rules, do what you like.

If going light armour, then chainmail with a waistcoat works. as chainmail is just under armour. not actual armour. And the Lamenated armours are more medium then anything else.

oh, Darren was attacking me because I attacked a zombie that he loves? Marlia? "That was Marlia" ??? how about tell me BEFORE she dies, it took me a good couple minutes to defeat her and he didn't say anything

I think both the Chain Mail and the Lamellar are OK given how the armor progression works in Exanima. Regardless of their historical or D&D compositions & classifications, they seem to be low to mid tier armors in this game, especially since you get them on floor 2. Compared to what you get on the later floors, chain and lamellar are rookie armors.
  • Use the Chain armor and leggings, Lamellar armor is made of small plates instead of a big metal plate...like scales on a fish, i don't think you'll get too much pushback for using them...or maybe it'll be the biggest controversy gamers have ever seen.
  • Chain should be fine, chain shirt in DND is light armor, chain mail is medium, but I don't think this game has "medium armor"
