This is one of the reasons why I can think Rin and Shirou have a good relationship and seems natural. Since Rin wanted the best for freaking Shirou helping him to prevent from becoming his other self , Archer Emiya. Not actually disregarding his ideal of being a hero of justice but helping him to find a good path for it to avoid the bad outcome that he might undergo due to his personality.
