  • I cried while watching this. Why? Because it showed me so clearly what it could be like to have a loving, healthy relationship with your mother. Something I have longed for all my life. I can see what a beacon of inspiration, nurturing, wisdom and love this woman is in your life. Dear Jonna, and everyone who has loving parents in your life who truly support and uplift you - please never take for granted what you have - your are blessed. There are so many of us out here struggling every day with the effects of an abusive/neglectful childhood. It hurts more than I could put into words. No one of us gets to choose what family you are born into and if you grow up standing on a foundation of a good, loving family, you are truly blessed. Update: Oh my goodness! I did not expect that type of response. The funny thing is, after I wrote my comment, I went to bed and sometime during the night I suddenly felt that wave of compassion coming towards me in regard to my upbringing and my relationship with my mother. And I was like, "oh, I am probably just imagining this since the topic has been on my mind after watching Jonnas video...or maybe Jonnas has seen my comment and is sending me good vibes..."and then the next morning I woke up and saw that not only had Jonna seen my comment, but there was a whole village of people who could relate exactly to what I was saying...and it made me both sad and comforted me at the same time...sad because it just confirmed what I already knew...that there is truly so many of us who carry that wound of a loveless, cold and painful childhood inside us...and comforted because after seeing all of the wonderful comments on what I said, I knew that we are truly not alone. And, before I continue, let me first say this: I know that many of us are struggling a lot with the wounds that have been inflicted on their soul...only those who have experienced it know what it is like going through life dealing with them...and I NEVER want to downplay the pain of what it means to carry that burden...because it is simply HARD. I know this. BUT I also truly believe that even though we have not felt love during our childhood, it doesn't mean that we are condemned to a loveless, painful life. We can love and be loved. We can heal. And like someone said so beautifully in the comments...I think it starts with ourselves. We need to try and give ourselves the love that we never received, but deserved so much. Give your inner child a hug and tell that child that you love him/her. And I know it isn't easy, because trauma is so deeply burned into us, it gets hard to shake those old patterns sometimes. But we have to fight for ourselves...and just do the best we can every single day. We deserve to live happy lives. We need to believe this, deep in our hearts. Sending much love to all of you out there...

Tell your mom her words spoke volumes, and we completely understood the wonderful life she had growing up there. She conveyed much more than she realized.😊

Your mother is absolutely inspirational. I am 71 and she has given me inspiration to do so much more, get more fit, learn so much more and not to waste a minute. Thank her for me please.🥰
  • Anita, Your ability to express such personal experiences and emotions in a language as difficult and “messy” as English is extremely impressive. Everything you said was crystal clear!
  • Oh my heart. Anita thank you for going outside your comfort zone and speaking with us. You are so inspiring!
  • I used to watch Jonna to relax. Now I watch her to motivate me to get things done. But sometimes I would still rationalize my lack of motivation by saying to myself, "Well, she is 35 and I am 65, so of course she has more energy than me." But then I watched this video. Her mom is 68 and still living life at full speed! She is such an inspiration to me! Thank you! Cynthia Sanders. USA

Doubt you will see this comment now Jonna but I just wanted to say that this video gave out so much love and light. Your mother has such a warm beautiful soul. I can see exactly where you get your light and love from. Thank you both for sharing your stories with us. It warms my heart to see such a pure mother daughter connection. You and your mom just made 5.17 (at the time I'm writing this) million people feel like family. That is the healing you are giving us all. The jewelry makes the healing beautiful, but you and your whole family are really just emminating healing freely to all that will receive it with the beauty of your pure souls. THANK YOU!❤
  • @hradecky9855
This was FANTASTIC!!! Your Mama is very articulate in English, too! You are both beautiful spirits and it was a priviledge to hear these conversations and see the love and joy between you. Jonna will cherish this video for the rest of her life.
  • Please tell your mom that she speaks English beautifully. I understood her perfectly. She speaks from her heart which is a universal language. Your mom is very much like you: brave, kind, strong, brilliant, and bilingual! And you both are very inspirational. Thank you so much for sharing your stories :)
  • My mother died when I was 14 years old. I have always dreamed of going on a trip with her and learning about her life. ☮❤🕯Thank you for this beautiful video!

  • Your mother is so lovely. So unassuming on the outside but a woman of so much knowledge and grace. A true warrior.
  • They say the most impactful people are not aware at all about their influence. This lady is a pure exemplar of it.
