  • Those people weren't mad about "stealing rocks"... they were mad because you showed the excitement of "finding value" in something they didn't.

I can’t believe you released a domesticated rock back into the wild in the middle of a parking lot. Poor rock will never get the opportunity to grow into a majestic boulder.

Everywhere I walk....eyes down, I am glad I am not the only one.People always ask me if I have lost something !

I'm a 70 year old American man, a Native of Iowa. Decades ago I made friends with an Old Timer Rock Hound. His entire basement was his rock shop. Someone had told him that their were no jewelry qaulity rocks in Iowa. He took this as a challenge and over a decade made 50 belt buckles with rock from Iowa Quarries. He had them mounted on the wall. Stunning Collection. Wonderful Man.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one looking at the landscaping rocks at stores!
  • @wendydisanto
I am so happy to know I'm not the only one who does this. Rarely do I go anywhere without looking on the ground.

As a woodcworker, the way that saw is used scared me witless

My Mum and I used to go rock hunting! Boy, this brings back good memories. Rest Peacefully Mom!
  • I think of it as, rock liberating, they are left out in the cold to fend for themselves, and you are adopting them to give a home, great job on the rock exchange.

A pirates ☠️ life for me! I've been a urban rock liberator for years. Soo wonderful to know there are more of us out there! A few years back,a Dr's lot, I came across a large area, in the back of the lot, full of tourquise. I left a few there. You just never know what you may find! YO HO YO HO... 😎

OMG 🤣🤣🤣 That is so me. I have probably missed many really valuable rock finds because I just looked for ooooo pretty or shiny, colorful, smooth rocks. I don't care what they are, I care how they make me feel.😆 Oh and any rock shaped like a heart.

OMG! Yall leave this poor guy alone about taking TWO lousy rocks from IKEA. The value added back into society and young peoples life's that will be inspired to pursue careers in geology is worth more than two rocks. Hava a heart! Love the channel. Would love to visit Nova Scotia❤

So nice of Ikea to provide a bit of rockhounding to its customers! Just before you put down your replacement rock I was thinking that Ikea management must wonder why they're needing to get more rocks all the time. Very thoughtful of you to make a trade. The cabs came out great! 😁

Ah.......kindred spirits. Always nice to know that you're not alone in your weird behaviours.

I use to go rock and fossil hunting with my 5 year old grandson (my first grandchild). He still has his collection and he’s 18. I’m 75. Sure was some good times. I’ve picked up some beauties. My husband has brought me some nice ones too.

Would make good drawer pulls for a beautiful kitchen or bath. Dressers Too!

My nickname growing up was Pebbles . I live on the new England coast, Rockport to be exact. I have always picked up pretty rocks though now I te d to just take pictures of them lol! Much lighter! I live in my childhood home where all the rocks from my youth got deposited. This year my goal is to create a compass rose out of them! Love seeing your work and hearing the geologic history. Rock on! 💕

You're living my life! This week it's my dentist's parking lot rock bed that needs attention.
  • @Anonymouthful
This is what I want to see more of. Totally everyday stone turned into jewelry. Theres just a certain aesthetic to it.
  • @danielpizana3682
Was I the only one that sat there and winced expecting something tragic to happen with this guy cutting the rock using his bare hands to push it through? whew, that was stressful lmao
