From cancellations to aging vessels, Washington State Ferries continues to face these issues.

Engineers working on those ferries said crew shortages are to blame.

The Marine Engineers Beneficial Association is expected to hold a press conference Tuesday about the impacts crew shortages are having on them and how it's burning out their workers.

    This is a direct result from incompetence from the Governor Inslee... Very poor planning. Not providing financial support for your people. No incentives. Lacking updated equipment and ⛴️ ferry. The good people of Washington need to make some political changes asap.
  • Fresh recruitments of trained workers & ferries should be implemented so as to enable the commuters to avail their service !
