  • After this, he was asked why he seemed mad at the end to the response of, "I wanted the world record." I love the confidence and enthusiasm. You are going to get a wr.

What I love about Noah Lyles is that he's not afraid losing, he matches up with anyone, anywhere.
  • The way he made distance between him and his own brother. Wow hectic

I was there. I'm so proud of you, Noah. Hopefully, I'll get to see you race again before next year. And congratulations on your world record. You'll break it next time.

“Bolt was quite good.” That is hilarious. That is a bit of an understatement.😂 Noah was just flying through that last 20 meters, smooth as silk. If he can hit peak at the Olympics, I think he’s going to run sub 19.30. I think the best chance of Bolt’s record falling is Noah, Tebogo and Knighton pushing each other past that mark.

Speed = Distance / Time. m/s for meters per second, m for meters and s for seconds. Noah lyles' AVERAGE speed over the American record for 150m: 150m / 14.41s = 10.41 m/s. Usain Bolt's AVERAGE speed over his 200m world record: 200m / 19.19s = 10.42 m/s. Therefore if Noah Lyles maintained that AVERAGE speed of 10.41 m/s from the 150m race into the 200m race instead, he would of got a time of APPROXIMATELY 19.21s!!: distance / speed = time so 200m / 10.41 m/s = 19.21s

Try beating 19.26 first. I think Yohan Blake deserves a lot of respect.
  • I know in sprinting milliseconds mean a lot but .06 isn’t that far off, if he keeps improving I think he’s got this
  • Your start has improved drastically since last years olympics. You are definitely going to get gold!
