  • Decided to give D2D a shot today. Took 3 hours to get ny very first sale on my very first day! $200 for washing the front exterior windows of the client’s home. Took me 40 minutes to get it done. The amazing thing is that just before knocking on that door, I was just about ready to give up after about 40 no’s. Lesson learned today: Never give up! But prepare yourself with do’s and donts for a much better experience.

    Avoid these words/phrases: 1. To be "honest" with you! 2. Trust me! 3. Sorry to bother you! 4. Just following up. 5. BUY! Use "own" or "take home with you" instead. 6. Contract. Say "agreement" instead. 7. I haven't heard back from you! 8. Individual. 9. We are better than "x". (x=competitor)
