  • First I have to say is you are strong! When I met my husband and he told me he was blind I didn't understand and thought he was joking. But one day about a couple months into our relationship he was having a bad day and I sort of gave him a hard time about it. So he asked me if I would like to spend a day in is shoes by going through the day not being able to see and face the little things that are so big for him. I saw this as a challenge so I accepted. To my surprise he got my parents in on it so from the moment I woke up to the moment b4 I went to bed I was to be blindfolded and I was. I can honestly say that experience made me fall in love with him for the first time. It was such a long hard day everything I did was so difficult and I realized he was a strong man. Gosh the challenges I faced in one day seem so little now compared to what you have to deal with daily. You have my respect.

I saw you on Twitch recently (and followed there and here) and was fascinated how you play KI. What struck me, and really got me thinking, was when you switched to SF5. You mentioned you can't tell who you're battling until the match starts because SF doesn't have any audio cues like character's specific sounds or intros like in KI and MK XL. Little things like that sighted people take for granted mean a lot to you. The more I watched you play, the more my mind raced at how you have to adjust so much to play. You, SightlessKombat, and others out there are amazing people. You bring a wonderful aspect to the FGC that is notorious for being petty and toxic. The gaming community, much less the FGC, needs more people like you who have a genuine interest, enthusiasm, and gusto for gaming. Anyone who says otherwise can, pardon my French, fuck off.
