When He Was On the Cross, I Was On His Mind

First heard this great group when I was in Germany in the 80's. Wonderful songs blended with awesome harmony. I can't get into the 'newer' Christian music of nowadays but I'm old and the church needs to play music that will draw the younger people too. Thanks for posting this group!

Thank you Lord for such a husband of my Joe Cortez who went to be with the Lord a year ago. We had 53 years of a marriage and for the love he showed God allowed him 1 million friends Thank you God for creating one that really cared and Loved all. He is so missed and he left a wonderful example of loving All just what our world needs. We must put God first or this world can’t stand long! We love you Joe Cortez, all your family! This was being sung when I got saved in 1995. I needed to hear this again today. I’ve forsaken the Lord in some ways, but He’s never forsaken me and He picked me up and made me anew. I still want to prove that “I’m of a special kind”. My God is so worthy, and I’m so unworthy of His goodness, love, grace and mercy.

To think that the LORD could love a person like me. I can't wait to see HIM in person and thank HIM for dying for me!!

God loves us all and Jesus died for our salvation from sin. Please accept Jesus as your Savior if you have not already.

This recording features Terry Davis in the tenor solo part. He was with the Florida Boys for the original recording, and only sang with them for 3 years. (Davis passed away in 2015.). For me, no one has ever sung this song better than this Florida Boys lineup.

God seems to know what I need. This song I had to listen to when I was young and now as His child, He says listen to this song. It reminds me once again just how much He loves me.

Listening to this on Easter morning and thinking how grateful I am that my Saviour was thinking of me so many years ago as He hung on that cross.  Thank you Jesus for looking ahead and seeing me and loving me!

Hallelujah! I was on His mind--even me! His sacrifice wasn't just for the world in general but also for me personally. Unless and until an individual really believes this is true, they cannot be regenerated--born again, saved. My Savior came to earth to suffer, bleed, and die for "ME."
