OBJECT MAP
objmap-totk.zeldamods.org/#/map/z3,0,0
(Type " Npc_MinusFieldGhost_000 " into its search bar to view all of the offering locations, or type a specific weapon (ex. Cobble Crusher) to see where to find all of them!)

The object map is a phenomenal resource - I didn't wanna show it all in this video to avoid spoiling the depths map, but you can see for yourself here --> objmap-totk.zeldamods.org/#/map/z3,0,0 (Type " Npc_MinusFieldGhost_000 " to view all depths offerings, or search a specific weapon instead!)

You can ultrahand a weapon to avoid picking them up (in case you dont have room and cant be bothered to throw something out to pick it up immediately)

How to get extremely good weapons right after the tutorial: 1. Go to lookout landing 2. Pick up the royal broadsword from the training area and the claymore from well 3. Break them 4. Go to depths and find them from soldiers as only those and traveler weapons will be able to spawn

Quick weapon tip: knight's weapons are unapologetically the best weapons to use in the depths. If you get yourself to 1 heart, knights weapons multiply by both the weapon damage and fusion damage. The reason why this is so good is because gloom enemies will only take away your unfilled hearts instead of dealing damage. When you get low, you can just eat a sundelion recipe to cure the gloom. By doing this, you essentially have full health in the depths, and your weapons deal double damage. There are only a few things that can hurt you (like yiga and flux constructs).

Prestine weapons are really damn good. Personaly really like the Zora ones with Sidons ability. They pack quite the punch!

I've just been attaching Bomb Flowers to weaker weapons to make grenades I can easily toss. It's also a fun way to get rid of badly damaged stuff & long throw weapons.

A good tip if you are seeking a particular weapon. The weapon is determined when the ghost soldier renders. If you know where the weapon can spawn, and you save a few steps out of render distance, you can reload to reroll what type of weapon it is, then save right next to it before grabbing it to determine what modifier it gets. I did this with the Gerudo Claymore, but didn’t have enough EXP for it to get any modifier. This means the sensor will not pick up on what the weapon is until the ghost renders, because it doesn’t exist yet(confirmed with said claymore)

The big cairns with 3 ghosts on top are found at the same spots as the commemorative monuments on the surface. Such as at the Great Plateau entrance, at Fort Hateno or in front of Akkala citadel.

Hey man, don't sleep on pristine soldier spears! They have solid durability and SUPER fast charge speed. You can do a level 3 charge attack in like 1 second, which is a TON of dps with a strong fuse. They don't get any bonus damage, but they are a solid mid-level weapon.
  • This game is insanely “in depth” and complicated. It will take me at least 2 years to master. It’s very overwhelming. But I’m addicted to it.
  • @Kirbo0064
Bro this dude just knows Botw and Totk inside and outside
  • Thanks for such an informative video! I have passed on so many of the pristine weapons in the depths cause they were weak. I never realized I might be missing out on something good later on. Looking forward to the next one. 😊
  • @SeeTv.
If you really want a specific pristine weapon you can manually save the game at a spot where you can see the pedestal but the ghost soldier did NOT spawn yet. Then you can keep reloading this save until you get the weapon. EDIT: If you already spawned in a ghost soldier then this weapon it spawned with STAYS there forever until you TAKE it (even a blood moon can't change that). If you have the Hero's Path unlocked you can easily see if you've already been in the proximity of a ghost soldier.

This is exactly the video I was hoping for! I saw a video that briefly mentioned you had to break the decayed counterpart, so fortunately didn't struggle endlessly searching for weapons for my compendium. I was really hoping to see a good map of the regions where weapons can spawn and of course, the rates as well - and here we are with probably the best, cleanest video covering all of this!
  • Ironically enough, the pristine traveler weapons are actually my favourites. Their high durability makes them perfect for excessive mining.
  • @RynKen
Very interesting! I went so lone thinking the only pristine weapons were traveler, soldier and Knight. My assumption was flipped on its head, after I bumped into a Zora great sword.
  • Dude I was going for a royal guards claymore and the object map helped me find it immediately
  • @sparkysheep
I had NO IDEA you needed to take the weapons in order to get them to spawn something new!! I was getting so frustrated coming back blood moon after blood moon and finding nothing new!
  • @vesselling
Croton, I can't tell you how grateful I am that you told me where each type of weapon is located with the object map. I've been doing a Royal Guard's challenge run, myself, so finding several reliable sources of pristine weapons has been difficult for me. This was such an informative video, I cannot wait for the rest of your Stats of the Kingdom series!
