Ark Single Player Transfer Between Maps | Easily Transfer Your Character, Items, and Dinos!

I always backup my save before I transfer. Stuff always gets deleted in the obelisks so watch out.

Thanks a lot. I was wondering how I could do this because I wanted to have Dinos from other maps on the island and also wanted to have one survivor across all maps. Great video!👍

So what I've gathered from the video and comments are:

1.) You can have a new character made for every map you want to play. Your most experienced character can transfer items to the maps where your Alt survivor is on and vise versa so you can still have all the maps bounty on your main.

2.) You can just transfer your items and dinos with your main. BUT BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!! DO NOT HIT CREATE NEW CHARACTER ON THE MAP YOU ARE TRYING TO GO TO. When you get to the menu screen on the map you want to start there is [create new survivor] or [download existing survivor] . Hitting "download existing survivor" will bring you to an extra screen to confirm the survivor you want to download. Click on the SAME BOB OR JANE YOU UPLOADED. And boom, your character is now on the new map. YOU MUST GO BACK THE SAME WAY YOU CAME IF YOU WANT ALL YOUR MAIN DATA AND DINOS TO BE ON THE PREVIOUS MAP!! So once Bob is done on genesis then upload him back to the obelisk go back to your main server and hit UPLOAD EXISTING SURVIVOR and click Bob and now you are back home with all your main data and the stuff you uploaded from the map you went to. Its important to never hit "make new survivor" after you left your main server or map cause that means ark will wipe ALL the data of your previous character off. You will return but your house items and dinos will not belong to you anymore and the game will treat you just like a newbie outsider of a tribe.

Cool. I'm on the island but have been wanting to check out the Center map. Was just going to create a new survivor but uploading a few dinos would make starting a new map so much easier

Nice vid, very useful! I had never transferred items, justcreatures and I had an ascendant shotgun I wanted to take and was looking for a button to press to transfer my stuff so I was confused when there was none, lol

Before doing this Always backup. Also take into account that items need to be in your inventory for a minimum amount of time to be transferred, if that time isn’t met, you’ll lose it.
