I kinda like how Sam in the DE had a more emotional confrontation with Tommy than in the original. It made it feel like an even more painful betrayal.

I always liked, (and kinda respected too) how Sal just accept his fate. Instead of bagging for his life.

Marcano and Sam (DE) are easily the best of all of these. Marcano realizing he's been beat, and just accepting his fate. And Sam's has so much emotion to it, of course he'll bargain for his life, he had a lot to lose, but their talk at the beginning just sets it apart for me. You can tell he really means it when he talks about having to choose between his friends and the family.

Carlo Falcone was so interesting and cunning, wish they done more with him. In the original script he was gonna frame Henry as a rat to eliminate any drug competition and be the drug kingpin of Empire Bay, that is why Vito in the final game took his kill so personally saying "I'm doing this for me"

I think the death of Sal Marcano is one of the most interesting deaths in the Mafia trilogy.

Mafia 3 for me has the best ending out the 3 that emotion and conversation between Sal can Lincoln was a Oscar winning moment when I saw Sal accept his fate and not fight back and them both explaining there nightmares it was just so well done.

I like how they put this scene to represent sam’s blood money. A little nice detail. 28:08

While I particularly don't like Mafia III all that much, I will admit that Sal Marcano is easily the best antagonist of the series. Jay Acovone is the best actor in the series and his performance is so damn realistic and he kills it in every cutscene. But best of all, while he may seem like a generic, evil & racist mob boss, he actually does feel like a human being compared to someone like Clemente and Falcone. It's just unfortunate to see the 2K Games and Take-Two Interactive being the slimey fucks that they are, Mafia II & III should have been masterpieces, but both games got sabotaged either by complications during development or sabotaged by the publishers.

Sam wasn't a real antagonist,he just did what he had to,because he don't have much choice,sure, OG Sam was more like he don't care about Tom and Paulie,but Sam Trapani in remake was like a brother to them,but they fucked it up and he had no choice,if he don't want get killed by Salieri.

WOW The fight between Sal and Lincoln was so intense! But in all seriousness though, it was my favourite final confrontation from all the games I have played. It shows that perhaps Lincoln is no different from Sal.

I really love the cutscene which Sal and Lincoln talk and Sal accepts his fate. Mafia III have a good story, but unfortunately the repetitive gameplay and excessives bugs overshadowed him
