LOUIS VUITTON SPEEDY 30 REPAIR: is it worth it?

I had a LV monogram 6 key holder that needed re-glazing around most of the edges but was quoted $120 (almost half the cost of a new key holder today), so I decided not to get it professionally repaired. Helpful to know the cost for speedy parts since speedy bags are prevalent in the resale market!

Helpful video on a classic bag. I watched as I had a preloved speedy b en route. Thx to you, upon delivery I checked canvas by zipper and there were cracks not disclosed. (Easy to overlook so I think it’s an honest mistake) again, thank you…..helpful info to speedy lovers or something to check on any Lv bag with a zipper!

I had my speedy 25 repaired last year I had all the leather replaced including the pipping. I did not get the zipper replaced but all the leather was. I was quoted $540 I also requested a new padlock and the total for everything $570 no tax I did the repair through the LV customer service repair center. It was a process but I was never charged taxes. I made a video of my repair. I’m guessing if you do everything at ones you get a better deal then if you do little by little. I have a lot of vintage bags that I do repair all the time. It can get expensive but all my repairs have been great. The repair center does a great job. This is awesome. I don't have a speedy but I was curious about price repair for say a preloaded bag. Gotta keep these repair costs in mind and what would be rejected.
