The IOC is always messing things up. They could just award a second Bronze and be done with it.

Sucks for both of these women. For Jordan to be stripped due to an error and being 4 seconds late to appeal. And for the Romanian gymnasts who lost out on the presentation of a medal at the Olympics.
  • @TraJonR3D
I bet if she were french, this wouldn't be happening. 4 seconds my a$$.
  • @gio2142
Feel free to let them BOTH have medals. It literally would not be the first time.

The latest news says the US team has a time stamp (not sure what this means - video?) showing that the original request came after roughly 47 seconds and a second attempt at around 57 sec after the score was originally posted. Should be interesting to see how this circus plays out. My bet is that they cave and hand out two bronze medals.

Give them both the bronze medal. Honestly, how hard do they need to make this?

she was literally did one 47 seconds, and then another in 55 seconds. bro whattt

The two Romanian gymnasts tied I don't understand how one was ranked higher than the other since the scores were identical. The one that didn't win the Bronze, had a point reduction for her foot going over the line, and later review of the footage showed she didn't step over the line. That was never corrected. If there is no deadline to appeal their numbers, what is stopping the second Romanian from getting her score updated, and being awarded the bronze ahead of Chiles and the other Romanian?

Do you have 1 minute to review other events like track and field—No. a win is a win
  • Jordan was 3 on the floor in qualifications and team final. She deserves the bronze. She was consistent. At this point because of the judges mistake both Jordan and Ana deserve the bronze. The judges messed up the scores of both Romanian gymnasts and Jordans. Its not fair to put them all through this.

Jordan is the type of woman, who would absolutely share the bronze medal, if asked by the Olympic committee. Everyone would be happy if that happened, possibly, even the Prime Minister of Romania.
  • After the officials scoring got their act together, Jordan scored higher then Ana Barbour of Romania, Jordan should not lose her entitled bronze medal because of the mistakes of her coach and the Olympic scoring officials , what they did mentally to both athletes Ana and Jordan is horrible.

I am sorry both gymnastics. I saw on TV live for the gymnastics floor on Peacock. The US Coach request the inquiry after the score was review which she was mentaioned to Miss Chiles. I think to settle everything for the both gymnastics should get bronze due lack errors from judges and committee and confusion that cause emotional for athletes.

So she has to give up Vronze because the judges originally messed up, and she missed telling them by FOUR seconds?! I would HATE to get the Bronze medal if I were from Romania, it would feel so tainted. All three of them deserve Bronze at this point
