I honestly dont remember him having any impact in the stories of d1, but I can remember several different struggles he had to face throughout d2, from losing his light, to his disapproval of using stasis and learning to accept it, to having to navigate an alliance with and his relationship with caiatl, and the most impactful is his regret and sorrow for his family, which is a focus in this dlc too? After all that how can you call him boring?

for the "not seeing players in the pale heart" maybe after the final mission it'd be an accessible spot and social space? in terms of in-game lore it could be like easier to traverse inside than like only "selected people" or something for the fight against the witness

The solo instance negative feedback is completely ridiculous and misplaced. It’s so obvious that multiplayer patrol zones become child’s play where everything is insanely easy as heroic public events are basically easy mode with multiple players just shredding everything. The solo instance is the only thing that changes that for the better.

Ngl for most of the d1 veterans I don't think it was the content that made it good, it was the fact that life was way easier for you guys back then.

Idk. I respectfully disagree. I'm a D1 beta vet. I am really surprised with how good TFS is. There's tons of content, story was a chefs kiss, sandbox changes were warrented. I think it's a great send off. And I'm eager for a destiny 3.

Being solo in a location except for the match made activity is a god send for doing challenges and bounties. No ones stealing your kills, starting random shit to despawn the enemies you need to kill. Overall I wish they’d privatize the servers for all locations so that could be used across the board.

Episodes are replacing seasons, not expansions. There will still be a yearly expansion while episodes are supposed to be a refined version of seasons
