My wife and I met at karaoke. I was a rock guy and had to learn country to woo her. I memorized this song so I could sing it perfect with her. Long story short, we fell in love, got married and have two beautiful kids. But lately we've been struggling and hearing this version today made me realize I don't want to lose her and to get back to wooing her. Great job guys
  • The original captured the sadness and depression perfectly. This one captures the anger that mixes into the two so well. This is all from my opinion, I've been through dark times with this song and this cover fully encapsulates my emotions from it. Well done, guys. I love it.

i cant listen to this song without straight up ugly crying. I lost her 16 years ago to drugs but i have had to keep going because of our daughters and son. the two girls have now graduated college and our son is now a freshman in college and i couldnt be more proud of them
  • Can’t say enough about how much I loved this version. Someone else said it perfectly, the 1st version captured the sadness, this version captured the anger. And can we all just agree that is such a breath of fresh air to see REAL actors that look like NORMAL everyday people that NORMAL everyday people can relate to. It just made it that much real and relatable when watching. Wasn’t expecting to cry over a song Iv heard a hundred times already. Amazing job.

It's not very often I can say a country song cover did the original justice. This is actually great. It doesn't sound like a rock band trying out country. It sounds like a country rock band. Amazing!
  • Her voice when she says "years and years", and the drums kick in are wickedly beautiful.
  • @JDJYNWA
The original song cut deeper than anything imaginable, and you genuinely covered it with pure perfection!

I remember when Brad’s song came out. Then I found Struggle later down the road. Now Struggles daughter is covering Brads song. I love how country is so intertwined. I saw Struggle live with Jelly and Yela in Greensboro and of course he brought Ms. Caitlynne out for their duets. I as a grown man cried multiple times during that show. Loving the family dynamic going proud and strong in the music industry. Making country real again

I would not have thought anyone could redo Alyson Krause. You two put a fire in this song that it deserved. Very powerful. ❤

Well. Didn't realize I would be bawling my eyes out to this song on YouTube because of the raw emotion & perfection of the performance, but here we are. I saw Brad sing it live a few times and while it's beautiful, didn't quite get this emotional pull from me. Perfection yall. Perfection.
  • To all my boys young or old that were cheated unjustly and need to hear this, we're in it together my brothers. Don't let yourself down because of a temporary problem, things get better as it goes ❤ you matter to so much people than you know. Build yourself up❤

Hey can we get a shout-out to the actors in this music video it takes a special level of skill to show off that level of pain and agony. That's amazing acting right there
  • @ambermason9112
Caitlin voice no matter what she sings or who she sings with .... Flawless, chilling, beautiful. This was a great cover!
  • @ManicMama.
This gave me chills. I grew up listening to the original but this cover really blew me away. The woman singing in this has the perfect voice for a song like this. It keeps the sadness of the original but makes it feel so much more powerful. So much more emotional and desperate. Like at 2:41, the way she sings this part makes it cut so much deeper. Perfectly done! I think I actually like this version more
