Hey mate. I am a creator of this "mod" and for sure I was not 9 years old. If i do remember it correctly i was out in the early 2003 so I was 12 years old. Vlokam 1 (and it`s sequel which were continuations of these "mods") were released when I was 13. :). Nevermind I am still amazed that this kind of new content about these old crappy mods exists so many years after! :) Thanks a lot.

The mod is czech. Holy frick the mod is czech. The flags on the HECU soldiers is the flag of the czech republic and when you entered the rocket, the "Mesic ROK: 2025" means "Moon, YEAR: 2025"

Despite all the oddities of the mod, the one question that plagued my mind the whole time was why are the soldiers Czech?

on one hand, that 9 year old is a better half life mod maker than i am at almost triple his age, on the other hand, why does his face look like pyrocycnical?

I mean when I discovered the Half-Life franchise in 2006 at the age of 9-10, I couldn't even figure out how to even open or make a new map in Hammer so this kid was way ahead of me in the days before Half-Life 2 came out.

It's a damn impressive mod for a 9 year old. Hope he will get better at mod making in near future. I wish this little guy luck and confidence in his work. Upd.: Oh crap, this mod is apparently 20 years old by now. Wonder if this fella made any other mods.
