  • So happy to come across this video and discovering Dr Sid Mukherjee who is such an intelligent human being. He’s a real asset, as an immigrant, to whichever country that is lucky enough to have his talents. America is indeed fortunate to have so many such great people. I have been following Dr Doudna for the last year after learning about the CRISPR technology.

We are so lucky to have access to such discussions. Thank you internet. It is sad that there are only 12,000 viewers in the last 2 years. The UK royal family dwarfs that number each days.

I think we need a revolution of wisdom to correspond with humanity's technological progress
  • As and Indian and particularly a Bengali, feels proud to see and hear Bengali minds like Dr. Mukherjee, Abhijit Banerjee, Amartya Sen and many others, rule the international stage on various issues in science and making this world a better place.

Mr Mukherjee is such a great author with “The Emperor of all Maladies” and the “Gene” …I listened to these books in audio at the gym.

Jennifer Doudna won the Nobel Prize in March for her CRSPR research. Arthur Isaacson has written a wonderful book about her "The Code Breaker".
  • I always gets Goosebumps when it comes to future of humans.... Especially when someone talk about human genome editing.... Thank you for wonderful video 🖤

    Excellent and thoughtful conversation.
  • Dr. Mukherjee .. Is he an Indian ? If yes, it's just a matter of pride and inspiration to me to be sitting infront of Nobel laureate and discussing science with her.

May I remind Dr. Doudna and Dr.Mukherjee that there is neither “treat and cure“ for psoriasis (just to mention one of many) without the side effects of available medication.

I was expecting that the conversation would touch at least some religious topics... If there are some codes in the DNA which are related with some of the viruses lived millions of years ago then how a man can believe the creation theory?...... The impact of Crispr CAS9 will be on the religions first.
  • All what we need to pay attention to, without the ridiculous intrusion of any superstitious belief systems we see today. Thank you for such an important video presentation.
