He was proud of his choices. His choices allow him to be with the woman he loved, father 3 sons which 2/3 he had the chance to raised along side Rhaenrya. He had the chance to meet all three. He was happy with the choices he made. It was a pleasure seeing beating up that bitter weasel.

the goodbye scene breaks my heart so much because him and Rhaenyra couldn't even properly say goodbye, and you can see how much she was holding back and literally holding her tears back, ugh and then they never got to see each other again :( and Joffrey never got to know his father ughhhh

Forget Daemon...Harwin is the best for Rhaenyra. (I know he dies) he still is the best man she ever had. They deserved better.

George RR Martin shared that he wants to write a novel about Harwin and Rhaneyra and I’m here for it. Fanfics are nice and all but we need a 10 year story for the author himself

He was such a good man. He clearly loves his kids and Rhaenyra more than anything. Even when being exiled, he didn't have any regrets and you know he'd do it all again in a Heartbeat. I do appreciate that Luke and Jace got to know him and somewhat be raised by him, unlike Joff who will never know who he even was.

His honor had more value that the hyprocrite honor in the realm , for him honor was taking care of his love ones even in the shadow. He was a real father and husband without the labels , it's so sad that he died that way. I will be crying the rest of the series for him.

The most honorable thing he could've done is be present in his son's lives, be support for Rhaenyra, and protect her.

At the beginning, I didn't really like him. I thought he was savage and had no class. But I was so wrong, it turned out harwin is a very fine knight with honor and pride. Oh and he is the strongest, too. No wonder Ryenra went for him. In contrast, what Criston did really has no class. What a whiny boy.
