The Talibans New Friend | ENDEVR Documentary

Watch 'The Bravest Woman in Afghanistan' here:    • The Bravest Woman in Afghanistan | EN...

When the Taliban returned to power in August 2021, most foreigners and multinational companies had already packed up and left Afghanistan. Going against the stream of foreigners fleeing the country was a group looking for “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunities: Chinese entrepreneurs. Despite the ongoing unrest, an economic crisis and United Nations’ concerns over human rights, more Chinese citizens are joining the country’s “gold rush”. Once a small minority, Chinese nationals now make up Afghanistan’s biggest group of expatriates.

I have seen where China is building dams and railroads in Afghanistan. That is a more effective foreign policy than military conflict.

As an afghan I know that our country has many problems and also know that China is helping our country in many ways and also know that our enemies and yours will never allow our relationship to progress. But Inshallah, if god wills, this relationship will be an unprecedented friendship and partnership between Afghanistan, which has recently come out of war, and China, the world's largest economical super power. But our Chinese friends should keep in mind that like us Their enemies are also present all over the world and they are also not in favor of strong trade and political relations between Afghanistan and China. Both countries can successfully face these difficulties together. We make our relationship as strong as the "great wall of china". hope. Long live china Afghanistan 🙏 Edit Thank you my Chinese friends

The Americans see everyone as either their suckers or enemies. The Chinese on the other hand, are making friends and helping friends to develop and prosper.

And who invades Afghanistan and leaves the country in ruins?
  • @QuietJagung
Many Chinese aid workers and volunteers went to Afghanistan the winter after USA troops left because many Afghans were facing famine. China also face famine after the colonial powers left and blockade China. At that time most countries were still under colonial rule so no one help the Chinese people.
  • This documentary is very old about three years ago when the Islamic Emirates first conquered Kabul from NATO now it’s much peace and Chinese investments are increasing day by day residential town is about to be completed costing around 700 million dollars built by the help of Chinese government

  • @user-gc9yh2ic4q
China wad once poor, helpless, and bullied. Therefore it's not hard for many Chinese to understand what people need and how to help them. And Chinese culture believes the goodness in human nature, the desire for peace and prosperity in everyone. Afghanistan for sure can and will have a bright future.

  • @Henry-cp1ei

I don’t think there are lot of business opportunities in this country. But have a try will not do harm. We Chinese people are pragmatist.
  • This is about mutual respect. Afghans govern their country, Chinese govern their country, both respect each other's sovereignty. This is how we get along. This is how we have always gotten along, going back thousands of years to create the Silk Road.
